Working to make the Washington wine industry a leader in equity and diversity.

The Alliance of Women in Washington Wine is a safe place for your voice to be heard without judgment, where you can receive support, and you can safely ask for advice on how to positively change your working environment or career trajectory.

Inspire.

The first step towards inspiration is to share with one another why we love being a part of the Washington wine industry. Step two is to share our collective experiences and elevate our voices. Representation matters in all things.

We organize socials and get togethers to encourage communication and friendship with those in the Washington wine industry. These days it is mostly Zoom and online game nights, but we hope to start back up with in-person social events as soon as it is safe. In the past we have volunteered at Second Harvest to provide meals for eastern Washington and northern Idaho families in need - we hope to organize more volunteer events to support Washington as leaders in our local communities.

Connect.

In order to create a strong community we need to get the word out. We want to reach all women and their advocates in every corner of the Washington wine industry.

Our community is only as strong as those who are involved and do the work. Your participation will help grow an eclectic community of strong leaders.

Advance.

Education is imperative in all that we do. The Alliance of Women in Washington Wine seeks to provide outside educational opportunities, lead tastings and seminars, and share the knowledge we have learned from our combined experiences.

We provide scholarships and a meaningful and productive mentorship program lead by experienced Washington wine industry professionals & leaders.
